Meet Jesse!

Jesse White started working at The Gartrell Group in January of this year (2022). Let’s get to know him a little better.

Let’s start with your Job Title. I’m a Full Stack Web Developer.

Cool. So what do you DO? I mainly work on The Gartrell Group’s Utility projects to customize applications to their specific needs. Within that, I work in smaller Agile teams per project to build custom functionality for clients. This includes front-end development as well as back-end development.

What is your favorite part about the job? Getting to work on a variety of projects and tasks that require creative solutions to client problems.

Are you remote? In office? Hybrid? I just bought a house in St. Louis, so I’m 100% remote!

Where did you grow up? Portland, Oregon.

How long have you been a developer? I transitioned from business management to software development over COVID.

What do you do outside of work? You know, fun stuff! I build applications for friends, I read a lot, play music, snowboard, and spend time with my family.
